Specializing in perinatal & postpartum emotional wellness as well as maternal & women’s mental health, I understand the multitude of changes and challenges a woman faces throughout her life.
Even on the good days, motherhood and motherhood-to-be can be TOUGH! Sometimes being a mom takes unexpected emotional turns that you may find overwhelming.
I hold a Post-Graduate certification from the Postpartum Stress Center, a Nationally recognized Center that treats women and their partners throughout the many challenges of fertility, pregnancy and postpartum stages. I was personally trained by Karen Kleiman, an internationally renowned author in the field of postpartum depression and Founder and Executive Director of the Postpartum Stress Center.
With my training and professional experience, I help empower women and their partners with tools to manage their symptoms and daily challenges and regain their sense of purpose and well-being.
You also may know me as the 'outdoor therapist'. I do feel strongly that traditional therapy in an office setting is not for everyone. Studies have continually shown that people have reported improved mental health when they are immersed in nature. This is why, in 2015, I decided to start offering walk and talk therapy sessions. If you are interested in addressing your mood concerns in my outdoor office, I would be happy to discuss this more with you!
