Even on the good days, motherhood can be tough. Sometimes this journey takes overwhelming and unexpected emotional turns, and the changes to navigate seem endless.

As a first-time mom, you didn’t expect the road to pregnancy and motherhood to be so incredibly emotionally and physically taxing. You don’t feel like yourself. You never pictured the anxiety, the sadness, the intrusive thoughts and worries. This is supposed to be the most joyous time in your life, right?

Maybe you feel like you have lost a part of yourself or don’t recognize who you have become in your motherhood journey. You may be struggling to find joy and balance. Or maybe connecting to your partner is a challenge that feels insurmountable. Some days you may even feel like you are failing at motherhood.

You are not alone if you haven't had the experience you pictured transitioning to motherhood. Just as ‘it takes a village to raise a child,’ it also takes a village to support a mother.

I take great pride in assisting my clients in finding balance, peace, and joy. I work from a strengths-based and client-centered perspective. I have over a decade of experience treating anxiety and depression and feel confident that our journey together will be impactful.
