Abbie Hausermann, MSW, LICSW

Over the past ten years of working in clinical settings, I have noted the profound impact that struggles with depression, anxiety and self-esteem can have on a person, their family and children. As a mom, wife and professional, I also know firsthand how challenging it can be to juggle many roles.

After becoming a mom myself in 2016, I developed a burning desire to work with women on mom-related issues: infertility, pregnancy, adoption, postpartum mood concerns and loss.

In addition to my clinical niche of working in women’s issues, I am also passionate about combining the healing powers of both therapy and nature. In my opinion, Mother Nature is the best therapist! So that is why in 2015, I began taking some of my interested clients outdoors and haven't looked back. I have found that these clients are able to improve upon their self confidence and self discovery while being outdoors and physically active-which is a 'win-win' in my book!

I received my Undergraduate degree from Ithaca College and my Master of Social Work at Syracuse University in 2010. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Massachusetts.

After working in many clinical capacities including inpatient work, integrated behavioral health and community mental health, I have finally settled on bringing my knowledge, care and expertise to the residents of Dedham and the surrounding  communities.
